Forest on dip slope has contrasting herb layer compared to last plot, due to soil development. Forest has multiple size class trees including large red oaks and mostly smaller hickories and maples. Herb layer is dominated by tall herbs including meadowrue and white snakeroot. Abundant lichen on tree trunks and rocks.
